What gave you the idea to do this?
Community Building and Restoration restores older homes. We believe in keeping the integrity of the local history of a home. We believe is utilizing the resources we have to the fullest. This garden illustrates that same sustainability we believe in, to our customers. Take care of our local history, restore our homes and look locally for answers to things like who you do business with and where you get your food. It is all a continuum and this is Community Building and Restorations commitment to that continuum.

Why would a renovation company build a garden on their shop?
It is our way of using any resource we have to better Milwaukee as a community. It is another way we show our customers, and Milwaukee, that we renovate homes, and even build gardens to give you the greatest use of the property and improve your quality of life.  

What crops are your harvesting?
We grow everything from Basil to Zucchini but what we are really growing is ideas about how any local company can help Milwaukee improve quality of life. For us this garden is a small example of what each of us can do. We hope the community will want to support Community Building and Restoration, because we are thoughtful craftsmen who care about the environment.
